Or try out one of the workshops being held at the library. Aged 5 and over? Pop along to or ring the library to book your space. These workshops are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

"Looking in Wonderland - the art of Alice in Wonderland" - An exhibition at Peterborough Museum - Saturday 4th July until Sunday 1st November 2015.


To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Peterborough Museum is staging a special exhibition of the iconic pictures from Lewis Carroll's Wonderland books. Check it out.


Why not take a visit over the Summer holidays and tell us all about it when you get back to school!

"Wonderland Wednesdays Workshops" 


Wednesday 22nd, 29th July and 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th August from 10.30am until 12.30pm.


Tickets cost £5 per child with accompanying adults entering for free. Booking is essential. You can find out more here and can call (01733) 864663 for tickets.

There are free child tickets available to some top London shows throughout August 2015. Have a look at this link for more information. There are lots of shows to choose from but these are the ones that link to the texts and authors studied in school:

The Gruffalo - Lyric Theatre - Year 2 explore Donaldson during the Autum term as do Reception throughout the year.

The Three Little Pigs - Palace Theatre - Year 1 will be exploring this story at the start of Autumn term.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Theatre Royal Drury Lane - Year 4 jump into the world of Dahl during the Autumn term.

Hetty Feather - Duke of York's Theatre - Year 5 read this text in the Summer term.the Spring term.

Horrible Histories 'Barmy Britain' - Garrick Theatre - Year 5 find out gruesome historical facts courtesy of the wonderful Terry Deary during the Spring term.

I believe in Unicorns - Vaudeville Theatre - Year 6 study an array of Morpurgo books in the Spring term.

War Horse - New London theatre - Another Morpurgo favourite. This text blew Year 6 away this year!
