July 2008
Thank You to the 32nd Woodston & Fletton
Beavers and Cubs - There very generous
donation of £200.00 has been put towards more
bark chippings for our Trim Trail.
Celebrations of learning & Achievement: Friday
Assemblies are all about children going above
and beyond normal expectations.
The Head Teacher’s Award for a child or adult
who I see going the ‘extra mile’ in their
learning OR in their desire to make Old
Fletton School a great place.
I am pleased to announce that the winners this
half term have been...
Alicia Disandolo Y2 for her wonderful project
about her acting debut and for embracing
challenging targets to extend her Literacy
skills even further
A wonderful approach to school life, always
positive and happy about learning.
Joshua Leaman

Miss Parkinson - Has worked over and above
that could be reasonably expected. She has
worked many early mornings and late evenings

appointed.

may have received or items that you think
other people would like to buy - proceeds from
the event are going towards the parent notice

School Improvements - We are working very
hard; improving the interior look to the
school. Could you help? Do you have a skill we
could use, painting, building, carpentry,
gardening etc? Are you willing to give up some
time, possibly a Saturday or Sunday to roll up
your sleeves and help? If so please let me
know by the end of term so that I can organise
a ‘Make Over Old Fletton Weekend’
***I have already persuaded my husband to run
a BBQ to feed any willing troops - (trust me
when I say DIY is not his thing!)
Happy Summer Holidays Everyone
