The link below shows, in words and pictures, the first 100 words that have been provided by our local Speech and Language Department to help support early language development and provide the foundations for effective communication.

 

Have fun learning some of the words and remember to talk with the class teacher if you have any concerns regarding your child’s Speech and Language or would like some ideas on how to promote these important words or concepts.

 

Children need to hear the words lots of times before they can remember it for themselves, repetition is the key!
