School buildings/facilities

We have 10 classrooms including a self contained Nursery Unit. In addition to these, the school has an attractive library, large hall which is used for collective worship, school dinners, PE, Music and drama. The main corridor and all classrooms are well equipped with PC's that are timetabled to each class. We are presently updating our Key Stage 1 Computer Suite. In addition to this all classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards.

The school has an extensive grassed area that houses a trim trail and a large hard surfaced play area with a basketball net. Picnic benches surround the playground and are used during the summer months for pupils having packed lunches as dinner time. At the front of the school is an environmental area with a large pond, used by the children as part of their environmental studies. The school has invested in the construction of an air raid shelter to enhance pupils learning.

Awards and Achievements

We have a very strong commitment to inclusion and welcome pupils from a range of backgrounds. We believe that this strengthens our school community and enhances our work in the wider community. We are part of the Behaviour and Attendance Social, Emotional, Attitudes to Learning (BASeal) programme and are a leading behaviour school. We have successfully developed a Creative Curriculum for our pupils.
