We believe communication is extremely important and here are some of the ways that we try to make this as effective as we possibly can:

Marvellous Me

This is an app that we ask all parents to use. Once your child has been enrolled at our school we will send you the joining instructions that you will need to access your account. The app is used to send all sorts of communication from school, such as letters, the Head's weekly update and messages from your child's class teacher. It is really important that you download the app as soon as possible so that you do not miss out on any important messages.


You will also receive joining instructions for Parentpay. This website allows you to pre-book your child's meals and, where applicable, make card payments online for these. We also use Parentpay to gather permissions and payments for school trips and activities so it is a good idea to get registered as soon as your child starts at our school.

Parent Consultation Evenings

These are held twice each year, in the Autumn and Spring terms. This year we returned to in person meetings but we are still using the online system called School Cloud to enable parents to book their preferred date and time of meeting. 

Head's weekly Update

Each week a new update will be sent out to everyone registered with Marvellous Me and it will also be posted on the school website. It contains information about recent events and advance notice about upcoming changes.

Contacting Staff

The headteacher and deputy head can usually be found on the playground at the start of the day. Teachers have more time at the end of the day to chat about queries and answer questions. You can telephone the school office (01733 554457) and request a call back from any member of staff at a mutually convenient time or if you wish to email please use and specify in the subject line who you would like the message forwarding to.
